About Christopher Fleming

Nearly fourteen years of legal experience, five of them on the other side of the table — and a firm built to feel like your neighbor, not a file number.

Christopher Fleming, founding attorney of Fleming Law Firm PLLC

Background

Christopher Fleming was born in Livonia and raised in South Lyon, Michigan, graduating high school at seventeen. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University, where he presented at the EMU Undergraduate Symposium, before going on to earn his Juris Doctor from Southern Illinois University School of Law — retaining a Dean's Scholarship all three years. He was the first in his family to earn a professional degree.

From Private Practice to the Prosecutor's Office

After passing the Michigan Bar, Christopher opened his own general practice in Monroe, taking on civil litigation, divorce and child custody matters, and criminal defense ranging from traffic tickets to felonies. He then joined the Lenawee County Prosecutor's Office as an Assistant Prosecutor, representing the People of the State of Michigan in cases from traffic violations to felonies, and working closely with law enforcement agencies across the county — from the Michigan State Police and the Sheriff's Office to local city and township departments.

That combination — broad private-practice experience plus real insight into how the prosecution builds a case — is what led him to found Fleming Law Firm PLLC.
